Kanishk Verma is multifaceted Indian film and television director, producer and writer. He is recognized for his passion for storytelling and crafting captivating scripts & visuals. He has made a significant impact on the Indian Cinema with his talent and made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. Kanishk has completed his schooling at Assembly of God Church School, Kolkata. He later graduated from Hindu College, University of Delhi, and then shifted to Mumbai and then embarked on filmmaking career.
Throughout his filmmaking career, he has directed several critically acclaimed films such as Footfairy (2020), Sanak (2021), Footfairy (Marathi) (2022), Gaanth (2024), Shoorveer (2022) and Inside Edge Season 3 (2021). He also received the Indian Telly Streaming Awards 2024 for his work on the film Shoorveer which cemented his position in the entertainment industry. In addition to his profession as a director he has also worked as an Associate Show Runner and Producer on Mind the Malhotras produced by Born free Entertainment and Applause Entertainment for Amazon.
