is an Indian director who has predominantly worked in the Marathi film industry. She has been associated with several Marathi television shows. Deepti, born as Deepti Desai, is a Mumbaikar who was heavily influenced by the world of movies. She graduated with a degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Mumbai. She met her husband-to-be, the famous actor, Shreyas Talpade, during one of her college festivals where he was invited as a celebrity guest. The happy couple tied the knot in 2004, and he inspired her to get into movie making.
She began her career in media as the producer of the film, ‘Sanai Chougade,’ in 2008. Her association with this romantic-comedy triggered off a series of more shows in similar genres. She produced movies in Hindi and Marathi like ‘
