Directing is an important pillar of a film. A perfect direction can take the film to great success. Arati Kadav is one of those Indian directors who know the minutes of directing. Arti did her Engineering with Masters in Computer Science from IIT, Kanpur. Wherever you go, your passion never leaves your side. Arti was doing her job in the US, but she took a life-turning decision. She quit her job and headed towards her passion, filmmaking, and storytelling.

What fascinates Arati the most is Science-fiction. She has given seven years of entire dedication and infinite efforts to Sci-Fi. Bollywood and Science Fiction barely share any history, so directors do not mostly prefer Sci-Fi, but Arati took that risk. Arati was aware of her caliber of portraying Sci-Fi in a manner that interests people. She directed a super amazing Sci Fi film, Cargo (2019) released on Netflix, that ruled the internet. Cargo is unique in many ways. It is the debut feature film directorial of Arati. It is the first-ever Sci-Fi film that is made in Spaceship. This film shows Sci-fi with the touch of Indian Mythology. Arati directed this film keeping its budget low but with her rare ideas, movie became a big hit, and even its critics rates it 3.5/5.

Initially she began making short films, connected with people, and later made a team. Before Cargo, Aratis' film Time Machine was released on Amazon that too got the recognition. Aratis' other works include 55 km/sec, Gulmohar, etc. Women do not usually make Sci-fi films due to male dominance in this field, but Aratis' marvelous work has inspired many to go on the path, and follow their passion.
