Anurag Kawatra, the director of companies like Intriguing Films Private Limited and Homebrew Café Private Limited, is an independent filmmaker, director, editor, and freelancer. He was born on the 4th of July in 1997 and graduated from Amity University in 2018, where he pursued Film studies and TV production at Amity School of Communication. Anurag Kawatra has achieved various milestones at such a young age by working in the media team of esteemed events like Kala Utsav organized by the Ministry of Human Research and Development, CMS International Film Festival, and The Partition Museum project, where he was successful in ascertaining more than 100 oral histories of the survivors of The Indian Partition.

He has received three major achievement awards for his debut ‘Kuch Der Aur’, which released in 2018. Kuch Der Aur is a film set in Chandani Chowk and follows the story of a young boy who tries to find a moment of bliss in the impassive and restless lives of himself and the people around him living in the old part of the metropolitan. For this film, Anurag won the Outstanding Achievement award, Honorable Mention award and, Special Appreciation for a Feature Fiction from prestigious festivals like Calcutta International Film Festival, New Delhi Film Festival and, more. He also posed as a Nomination Jury member in the 9th CMS VATVARAN- International Environment and wildlife film festival in 2017.

He is a creative producer and director in various films, web series, commercials, events, and corporate shoots. He is working with well-known companies like Drishyam Films and Red Chillies Entertainment for the ‘Behind the Scenes project for Love Hostel’ and the ‘project for Bob Biswas’ as a freelancer. He provides services in a wide range stretching from video production, video editing, video animation, graphic designing, videography, and commercial photography to areas like writing and content marketing. He resides in Noida, pursuing his passion for media and film.
