Anjalika Sharma is a director, video producer, video editor, photographer, and writer based in San Diego, California, United States. She graduated from Cathedral and John Cannon School, Mumbai, with distinction in subjects like economics, Sociology, Anthropology, and Psychology. She then pursued her Bachelor's degree in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. Anjalika has completed her postgraduate diploma in Direction and Screenplay Writing from the globally acclaimed Satyajit Ray Film & TV Institute, Kolkata, India. Due to her exceptional vision and storytelling ability, her thesis film, MeenaJha, received the National Award for Best Debut of a Director at the Indian National Awards in 2001.
Since moving to the United States in 2001, she has worked on narrative and documentary films, including two documentaries for PBS, an American public broadcaster and television program, and six shorts for the U.S. Air Force.
