Ritu Gupta is a social media dancer. She is a mother of two boys. Gupta hails from Surat, Gujarat. She was always interested in dance and choreographed family functions and weddings. She started her dance career in 2009 when SONY selected her for Boogie Woogie Mummy’s Championship. Gupta was among the four runner-ups in the competition. A turning point in her life came when she established a dance studio.Â
In 2012, Gupta uploaded video dance performances on YouTube. She uploaded a dance video on Chittiyan Kalaiyan Ve, which went viral. Over time, her dance evolved; Gupta started training people in salsa, Zumba, dancercise, contemporary, hip-hop, and semi-classical. She also hosts events such as flashmobs and dance parties in Surat. 2018, she was bestowed with a Star Woman of the Year Award by Star Jewellery.Â
