Vivek Oberoi
. Though the film was not a commercial success, it was appreciated for Sharvani’s dancing prowess. Who would forget Isha Sharvani in the Hide and Seek advertisement, dancing along another dancing sensation Hrthik Roshan?
From then on Sharvani took up dancing on stage; she also worked on some movies during 2006 and 2007. The 2006 Hindi film Darwaza Bandh Rakho had her playing the female lead. Isha has also acted in the 2003 film David. Isha is touted as one of the best aerial dancers. She experiments with her dance a lot.
Isha is a dedicated dancer and it is obvious from the fact that, she practices dancing almost 8 hours daily. In fact, she even quit her education during her teens to take up dancing. Isha’s mother is also a dancer. The reason for Isha’s non-progressive career in films is that, her passion for dance was more than for films.
At present Sharvani is associated with the Daksha Sheth Dance Company as the lead dancer. She has performed in places like Mumbai, Perth, London and Muscat.
Sharvani was also seen as a participant of the Jhalak Dikhhla Ja show. She earned a lot of accolades for her dance in the show.
Born on 29 September 1984, Isha lived in many places before finally resorting to Trivandrum. Isha started to have formal training in dance since the age of 13. She is proficient in Malkam dance, which is a category of folk dance. Isha has over a dozen films to her credit. The dance of Sharvani has a unique style.
