Dharmendra Jadeja

Dharmendra Jadeja is an engineer turned professional dancer and choreographer who rose to fame with his performances in the show Dance Plus that aired on Colors TV. Born in a strict and economically underprivileged family, dance as a career was never an option for Dharmendra. He was an academically focused student who considered education was the one thing that interests him at that time. He got inspired by his music, and in fact, used to ditch his AIEEE and GUJCET classes and go to Internet Cafe to watch MJ dance videos.

Dharmendra tried one of the popular moves of Jackson, the moonwalk, and found he good in the first attempt itself. After performing Michael Jackson hit number Dangerous in front of his classmates, he gained much confidence about his dancing ability. While pursuing his under graduation, he used to practice at his friend dance studio, and after a point, he started teaching. Dharmendra never got paid for his work in the studio. Instead, he asked for the keys of the place so that he could train any time he wants.

Dharmendra entered Dance Plus Season 1 after pleading his parents, who did not allow him to participate in it. With his incredible performances, he made it to the top six contestants of the show. Dharmendra has also competed in the show Experience the Stage. He became the first runner up of that competition. Dharmendra started getting a lot of opportunities to perform abroad and even judged an event called ‘INDI KING’ held in New Zealand. Dharmendra has been conducting workshops for people all around the world and is focusing on expanding his career.
