Bindi Khare is a choreographer and dancer, mostly known as Jay Bhanushali’s choreographer in Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa Season 2. She has devoted her life to dance and is a trained dancer in various dance forms, like Bharatnatyam, Bollywood, Kathak, Belly Dance, Salsa, Hip Hop and many more. She has done various shows both on national television as well as abroad. She is currently based in Mumbai. She has also made a record for dancing continuously for 55 hours and 15 minutes. She teaches Eqyptian Belly Dancing.
She refuses to think of Belly Dancing as only an erotic form of dance and rather, she believes that it is a dance form which truly emancipates women. It is her belief that belly dancing due to its illustrious moves keeps one fit and is very useful for toning the body. Bindi Khare’s mother has founded YVSA trust, and Bindi is a trustee of it. She also teaches dance there. For her, dance is a therapy and a ritual to oneself.
