Suganndha Mehrotra

Suganndha Mehrotra is a creative writer and director. She was born and brought up in Delhi, India. She went to the Amity School of Communication. She was graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, and advertising in 2007. She started her career as a Trainee Copywriter at Leo Burnett in 2007. Then, she became the Head of Copy in 2008 at Torrocks. After some time, she started working as a freelance copywriter under Naved Akhtar and Freddy Birdy. In 2009, she shifted to Mumbai and started her career in the Bollywood Industry. She worked as an Assistant Director at Amitabh Bachchan Corporation. She helped in the direction of the movie “Paa” then. In 2010, she joined Jigsaw Pictures Pvt. Ltd. There, she worked as an Assistant Director to Mr. Narayan Shi for various ads and campaigns.

Next year in 2011, she switched to Chrome Pictures Pvt. Ltd. She worked there for a few months as an Assistant Director to Mr. Amit Sharma for ad campaigns. In 2013, Suganndha started working at Friday Filmworks. She directed the film “Special 26” under the guidance of Mr. Neeraj Pandey. In 2013, she again gave a thought to writing. And she started working as a writer and director at Think WhyNot Group. In 2014, she again got to work with the well-known director Neeraj Pandey. She worked as an Assistant Director in the movie “Baby.” Then she, worked as an Executive Producer and Script Writer for Home Shop 18. In 2019, she moved to Gujarat and worked as a freelance content creator at Children's Nutrition Park, Kevadiya. Now she is an independent content writer and creator. She has been working for over a decade and has made her mark in the industry. She is one of the greatest writers in the Indian Film Industry and deserves more appreciation.
