Jayati K Pandya is a Creative Director for Fiction at Zee Entertainment Enterprises. She was an Assistant creative director at Red Chillies Entertainment, and she has also worked as a freelance writer on a short film called I say Balaji. Jayati has also written Bollywood-based shows at Zee Network at their International wing, which got aired on Zing - the UK Asian Lifestyle Channel in the UK and on channels in other countries. She is associated with organizations, namely, the Film Writers Organization and the Indian Film and Indian Film and Television Director Association. Jayati has done her high school at St. Thomas Highschool and went to college at Mithibai College. She later went to Usha Parvin Gandhi College of Management to gain her Bachelor in Mass Communication and Media Studies. She did her Postgraduation Diploma in Journalism from Bombay College of Journalism and got her Master’s in English Literature from Mumbai University.

She also served as a lecturer at the Malini Kishore Sanghavi College of Commerce and Economics, to work as a Full-Time Lecturer for UG Professional Courses of BMM, BMS, BBI, and BFM. The subjects she taught included Effective Communication Skills, Translation Skills, Creative Writing, Introduction to World Literature, Introduction to Journalism, and Editing. Jayati is fluent in the languages English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati.
