Pawandeep Rajan

Pawandeep Rajan is an Indian professional singer. He is the winner of the first season of the singing contest show The Voice India. Pawandeep Rajan was born in Champawat village in Pithoragarh town in Uttarakhand, India. He is currently living and working from Mumbai, Maharashtra. Pawandeep Rajan got his school education from University Senior Secondary located in Champawat. He is an also student at Ret footprint of music. Pawandeep Rajan then received his college degree from Kumaun University which is located in Nainital. Pawandeep Rajan was twenty-one years old when he won the title of The Voice India. He received prize money of 50 lakh rupees, a car, and a contract of the album for a music company. When he first entered the auditions for the competition, Pawandeep Rajan was a bit less confident after hearing other singers.

But he started practicing hard and was even selected in the blind auditions. Singers Shaan and Mike came forward to train Pawandeep Rajan, but Pawandeep selected singer Shaan. Pawandeep Rajan says that he learned everything about music during this show. Growing in the village of Champawat, Pawandeep Rajan was interested in playing tabla when he was at a tender age of two and a half years. As a child, he was only attracted to playing music. But once he turned three, he wanted even to sing. Pawandeep Rajan got appreciated for his voice. He shifted to Chandigarh from his village and founded a band named Rait. After finding out that The Voice India is about to start, Pawandeep Rajan went for its audition. Pawandeep Rajan can also play musical instruments such as keyboards, dholak, guitar apart from tabla.

Pawandeep Rajan took music lessons only two weeks before his auditions for the show. Pawandeep Rajan grasped the concepts quickly and with ease since his family was not new to music. His father is a folk singer and also a teacher. Pawandeep Rajan used to go to shows and theatres act with his father. After winning the title, Pawandeep Rajan was set to move to Mumbai to focus on his music and become a very famous and talented singer. Before that, he met his school friends. He went to Chandigarh to say goodbye to his close people. Pawandeep Rajan is also the Youth Brand Ambassador of Uttrakhand. Pawandeep Rajan has released many individual albums. Some of those are Romeo N Bullet which is an action film and had a collection of four songs, and album Chholiyar which came in the year 2016 with six singles. His single named Yakeen is released in the year 2015.
