Janice Sobti

Janice Sobti is an upcoming talented and young actress who is mostly seen appearing as an actress in Hindi television serials.  Currently, an actress, Janice Sobti is multitalented in true sense and it is roved and backed by the fact that she is trained and professional singer. Janice Sobti first came into the limelight due to her singing skills. Janice Sobti initially started off her career as an amateur band singer with a Panjim, Goa based music band, also is the place she hails from. Janice also tried her hands in modelling and was crowned Miss Goa in the year 2005. Janice Sobti in the year 2008 appeared as a contestant in Zee TV ‘s hit and successful music / singing competition and reality show Sa re ga ma pa and mesmerized the audiences and the judges with her singing skills, but soon she was eliminated from the contest. The contest gave Janice name and fame and she accepted few singing offers which came on her way as a result of her participation in the singing competition. Janice Sobti got her acting break when she bagged a pivotal supporting role in the NDTV Imagine channel’s hit, successful and popular show Dharampatni opposite Harshad Chopra and Asiya Kazi. The role of Janice in this Hindi television serial was named Sia, who was London returned and was the best friend and madly in love with Mohan, the main male protagonist of the show which was essayed by actor Harshad Chopra. Janice’s portrayal of Sia resulted in some high voltage drama in the serial’s plot and it gave the serial much needed rise in the TRP’S and her acting skills were also appreciated and well received by the audiences and the critics.
