The midday meal cook, Babita Tade, was the contestant of KBC who won an enormous amount of one crore. She hails from a small village Anjanagaon Surji of Amravati district. By profession, she was a midday meal cook who earned a minor amount of 1500 rupees. She had a self-belief in herself, which took her to the hot seat. Playing with confidence, she managed to win a huge amount of one crore, which she had never imagined. Even she knew the answer to 7 crore questions, but rather than taking a risk, she decided to quit and be satisfied with what she has won. Apart from winning an enormous amount, KBC also gave him an opportunity to meet his idol, Amitabh Bachchan.
She had always dreamed of sending her children to school and building a Shivalya in her village, thus she wants to spend her winning amount in such a manner. Also, she wanted to get her kitchen renovated with a water filter being built in it. Her life entirely transformed as she was made district ambassador of elections in Amravati Zilla to make people aware of the importance of voting. She believes that every one person, understanding their responsibility, should cast a vote.
