Sanil Sachar is an author, entrepreneur, and co-producer. He was born and raised in New Delhi, India. He attended Delhi’s Modern School in Vasant Vihar. Later, he moved to England when he was 16. He completed his schooling from Ackworth School. Then he went to Sheffield Hallam University and earned a degree in B.Sc. (Hons). He has worked with Star Sports as a Market and Revenue Strategist. He is the great-grandson of Bhim Sen Sachar. He served three times as the Chief Minister of Punjab. And the grandson of Rajinder Sachar, an Indian lawyer and former Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court. The movie won the “Best Feature Film” award at the South Asian Film Festival held in New York City. He started his writing career with “Summer Promises and Other Poems” during college. It was published by Rupa Publications in 2013. In 2015, he gained popularity after posting his second book, “The Dark Side of Light.” It was included in the Top 5 fiction in India immediately after it came into the picture. Then he wrote the book “Rebound.” It was based on a guy named Abhimanyu who has Schizophrenia. It’s a young man’s pursuit and desire to overcome delusions and seek a real life. He has also written the book “And…. Perhaps Love.” It was based on virtual work, measuring our way to reality, distant relationships, and a blurred future.

Sanil founded a Gurgaon-based incubator, Huddle, and is an active angel investor along with his business partner. Also, he is one of the co-owners of Trusox, a global sports brand. Apart from this, he is also a motivational speaker. He addresses people from all over the world on many topics, including leadership, creativity, and innovation. He also writes articles for publications as a guest columnist. He has also spoken at multiple TED events. He is an inspiration for young entrepreneurs across the world.
