Vaibhav D Lonkar

Vaibhav D. Lonkar is carrying his ingenuity to fill lifeless frames with creativity and light, with an innate talent for lights and cameras. Vaibhav D. Lonkar was born and brought up in India. Vaibhav D. Lonkar got his secondary school certificate from Sadhana Vidyalaya, Pune-28, and subsequently did a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Computer Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune. Apart from being a cinematographer, he is a prominent photographer. Vaibhav D. Lonkar usually showcases his photography skills on his social media platform, specifically Instagram. Aside from the photos, by and large, he shares his projects on his social media handles.

He has been working as a founding partner with Peddlers Film Company (Pune) since September 2017. Vaibhav D. Lonkar has worked as a cinematographer in the video Firsts 2021, the short film The Fifth Day (2017), and TV mini-series like BAE Control (2020), Firsts (2021), and Firsts I S05 (2021). Vaibhav D Lonkar has worked in the camera and electrical department in TV series including Staff Room - Teacheron Ka Adda (2023), Crushed (2022), Bravehearts (2022), What the Folks (2022), and Adulting (2021) as a second unit director of photography. Additionally, he has worked as the 3rd director of photography and third unit DOP in the TV series Clutch (2021). One of Vaibhav D. Lonkar’s featured works is the short YouTube film Ailteer.
