"Suresh Suvarna is an Indian cinematographer/director of photography. From being a cameraman at Bombay Doordarshan to television serials and International movies, Suresh has come a long way. In his initial days with Doordarshan, he became an assistant to K Vaikunth, one of the most known cinematographers in the history of Indian cinema. After sometime, he became independent and indulged into ad films and television serials.

Suresh’s first serial as an independent cameraman was Yugandhara, which was co-produced by him. The serial got him insane recognition and soon he was overwhelmed with offers to do Marathi television serials. Suresh worked with the best of production houses and at single time, had three serials on the screen. He was honored with a memento for this achievement. Director Raman Kumar got a suspense Marathi television serial Aabhash, whose director was Rajan Waghdhare.

He offered Tara to Suresh Suvarna. Suresh worked in 162 episodes of Tara, one of the most famous television series on Zee TV. After Tara, he never looked back. He went on to direct all the best television serials. During the heights of his career, a once in a lifetime opportunity came in front of him in the form of a television project from Indonesia. Suresh was offered a TV serial as a D.O.P. in four mega serials. He single handedly revolutionized the photography industry in Indonesia.
