Ravikant Nagaich (5 July 1931) was an Indian Cinematographer. Ravikant was born in Uttar Pradesh. He began his professional career as a Cinematographer for Telugu films. The first film for which he did cinematography was Sri Seetha Rama Kalyanam (by N.T. Rama Rao Bio coming soon... >> Read More... ) in 1961. He then turned to become a director for the movie Farz. He directed at least 24 films with “Duty” being the last film in 1986. Because of his films like Farz, Keemat, and Raksha; many celebrities like Mithun Chakravorty gained stardom. He tried his hands in production also and produced the films like Wardaat and Shapath, released around 1980. He died on 6th January 1991.
