Raam Babu Gupta is a professional Film Director and Cinematographer based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. He has done a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Entertainment Management from Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga. He started his journey as a Director of Photography at Veecon Media & Broadcasting and Veecon Music & Entertainment in 2009. Later, he started working as a freelance Cinematographer and Creative Director in the Indian Film Industry.
With an experience of more than fifteen years in visual imagination, Raam has done various projects in different genres as Cinematographer and Director. Â He has shot more than 200 TV Commercials for numerous brands, such as Maruti Suzuki, Blackberry, Hero, Honda, Bosch & Lomb, KFC, Jagdish Jewellers, etc. Along with these advertisements, he has shot various government projects, including Jaago Grahak Jaago, Income Tax, Who, Sail, DMRC, Air India, PCRA, Delhi Police, Make in India, etc.
Raam is also highly experienced in shooting documentaries, and he shot more than 600 documentaries with lots of challenges and learning experiences on wide subjects like Indian Railway, World Bank, NABARD, Vodafone, Airtel, Smile Foundation, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, PCRA, Delhi Government, Doordarshan, etc. Besides, he has shot more than 100 Success Stories (Case Studies) for Government and Non-Government Agencies, such as Vidya Gyan, J K Cement, Modi Agro, IFFCO Fertilizer, IFFCO Tokyo Insurance, Patanjali, Spice Board of India, and many more.
In the realm of fiction, Raam has shot almost 100 fictional projects such as Utterkatha, Oh Saat Din, Jaago, Kaamyabi, Chamatkar Ko Namaskar, Hum Sab Idiot Hai, Ladli, Swarg Ka Rasta, Jaago Grahak Jaago, Somnaphobia, Aare Bhai Dhatt Teri Ki, Shadow Act, Paperback Writer, Meeraas, Blackberry, Prayashchit, Pooja Ka Prasaad, Saboot, among others.
