Toby Fernandes

Toby Fernandes is an Indian Bollywood choreographer. He hails from village Shelli which is located at the southernmostpart of Goa. The village in which he lives comes under the jurisdiction of Loliem-Polem village panchayat. From childhood, he was very fascinated by playing with airplane toys. So, everyone in his family thought that he would pursue something in Aeronautics when he grows up but he chose a very different part which was dancing.

Toby’s parents were working in airlines. His father worked for Indian airlines, and her mother worked for Air India. There was huge enthusiasm for sports among the family members of Toby, but he took a different path and became a dancer. He is alonethe son of his parents so; he was always showered with lots of love and care. His father Mathew Fernandes was a great player in hockey and football. He even represented the Maharashtra state team in hockey and played for them.

Toby had nimble feet so, he never pictured himself dancing or being a choreographer, but his parents and uncles all are great dancers. So, he says that dancing was the second thing that came to him after Sports. In academic, he has done Hotel Management and started a catering business in a bakery company. Along with it, he continued to participate in dance competitions.

He was a participant in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Story soon >> Read More... , while his partner was Mona Singh.He won the show in 2006. He has shared the stage with Bhagyashree of ‘Maine PyarKiya’. He also owns a dance troupe of his own known as Toby’s DanceMechanics, which conducts workshops around the world. He aims at giving Goa people a lot in dancing styles and genres through his incredible dancing skills.
