Reshma started working as a solo choreographer from “ Itihaas Click to look into! >> Read More... ” in 1997. She had also worked in films like, “ Mela Click to look into! >> Read More... ,” “ Josh Click to look into! >> Read More... ” and Woh Tera Naam Tha. In her first eight years of solo choreography, she has worked in just four films. Later, her career started to move upwards. She has worked in films like Nam Gum Jayega, “Undertrial,” Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam, Diwangi Ne Had Kad Di, Muskurake Dekh Zara, Ye Stupid Pyar and Prem Mayee.

On seeing the graceful dance movements in the films of Reshma, she had been offered to choreography a non-Indian film. Yes, she had been provided with an opportunity to choreograph a Pakistani film, Shor Sharaba. Reshma choreographed stunning dance movements to Meera and Rabi Peerzada, who is a singer turned actress. During her Pakistani visit, she had been contacted by a lot of filmmakers in Pakistan to choreograph in their films. Although she had been overwhelmed with the response, the choreographer hasn’t signed any films, yet. When asked about the Pakistani film industry, Reshma said that they don’t have experienced dancers as in India. She also suggests dance academies to improvise the dancing skills. However, their films are watch-worthy, says Reshma. She also says that if they take essential efforts, their films could also showcase in the international arena.
