Mayur Vaidya

Mayur Vaidya is a choreographer. He is known for his Kathak dance. Mayur had also worked in movies as a supporting actor. He began his career as a Choreographer in 2006 in the Marathi movie, “Lalbaugcha Raja.” After that Mayur worked in two other movies, “Kho Kho,” and “Bai Go Bai” as a choreographer. He had an experience of 25 years as a dancer. Mayur has a dancing academy named “Mayur Vaidya Dance Academy” where he teaches professional Kathak dance forms and even Modern dance forms. His academy is associated with Utsav Media. Pandit Birju Maharaj was the Dance Guru of Mayur Vaidya.

He gives credit for his success to his mentor. Mayur mentioned that when he was young, he attended Maharaj’s workshop, and there he was introduced to the well-known Kathak dancer, late Guru Shri Bireshwar Gautam Ji.
