" on the food channel. Shailendra Kekade started his career with the "Cafe Royale" at "The Oberoi Towers" in Mumbai, thereby nourishing his appetite for food's purest flavours. Following this early encounter, he received training in Switzerland under the tutelage of some of America's greatest chefs, including Chefs Gerd Hertel, Chef Peter Haselsberger, and Chef Rico Oprandi.
He has worked for some of Miami's hottest cruise lines, such as "The Big Red Boats" and "Norwegian Cruise Lines," and he has constantly maintained the prestigious position of "Le Bistro Chef." Shailendra Kekade won the Celebrity Chef competition for Pune city, held by Upper Crust. He studied at the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology, and Applied Nutrition.
