Govind Mishra is a casting director of Indian origin. He works mostly in the Hindi Film Industry and is currently living in Mumbai. He has also pursued theatre and is an acting coach. Govind holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from DR. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University in Faizabad. After that, he pursued a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Hindi literature from Sampurnanand Vishwavidyalaya in Varanasi. He got interested in acting and went to Satyajit Re Film and Television Institute in Kolkata. Later he studied for a diploma from Bhartendu Natya Academy in Lucknow. He worked as a casting associate with Writer Galaxy Film Productions Pvt. Ltd. in Bombay for two years. Since 2018, he has been working as a freelance casting director in the film industry. He has also been associated with the Natraj Social, Economic and Cultural Society of Sultanpur for almost eight years.
