Ranjan Bose is an Author at The Daily Guardian. He is the Director of IIIT Delhi. He was born on 5 November 1970 in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. Ranjan Bose completed his Bachelor's in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, India in 1992 and Doctor of Philosophy from University of Pennsylvania, USA in 1995. He worked as a Senior Design Engineer in Alliance Semiconductor Inc., San Jose, CA for one year. Ranjan has also worked as a Microsoft Chair Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
His book is 'Information Theory, Coding and Cryptography.' Ranjan received Recipient National Talent Search, Young Scientist award, Union Radio - Scientifique Internationale (International Union of Radio Science) 1999, Young Teachers Career award 2004, Young Engineers award 2003, Humboldt Foundation 2000, Office Naval Research 1992, Boyscast 2005 for his brilliance.
