The story is a simple one which describes the life of a homemaker inside the four walls of the house. Swara and Vaquar are a married couple who live along with Vaquar's paralyzed father. Since Swara's father-in-law cannot do his works on his own Swara stays at home taking care of him and works from home for a cosmetic company. The name for the short story is 'Teaspoon' because Vaquar's father is unable to speak so when he needs anything he calls Swara by tapping on his bedpost with the help of a spoon.
This sound annoys Swara a lot, and when she tries to talk to her husband about this, they end up fighting as his father never uses the teaspoon when his son is at home. Day by day this problem gets worse and one day Swara does something which changes her fate. The story ends with an unpredictable and a disturbing twist. The film was screened at many film festivals and widely appreciated across the globe.
