Kashish Arora

Kashish Arora is an Indian film assistant director. He was born in Amritsar and completed his schooling from DAV Public School. Kashish has a keen interest in performing arts since childhood but pursued his dream later in life. In 2016, he completed his graduation in Commerce from Sri Venkateshwara College, Delhi.

Since his college days, Arora is an active member of his college drama society and was also the vice-president of Anubhuti-the drama society of Venkateswara College. After completing his studies, he joined Wrigley in Gurgaon, as a Marketing Intern. But after realizing his love for film, in 2017, Kashish moved to work as Post Production Supervisor in Y Film Production Ltd.

After that, his filmy career paced, and he opts for an opportunity to work in Dharma Production as a Creative Director. Under the Dharma banner, he assisted in Shashank Khaitan’s 2017 release Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya. The movie success is a turning point in Arora’s life, and it becomes his first debut hit film as a creative director. After that, he handled and worked under various banners such as Bindass Tv, taxi Films Pvt. Ltd.

as an Assistant director and production supervisor. After working as a director with several productions, Kashish also worked as a Casting Assistant with Roy Kapoor Films, Remo D’Souza Entertainment Private Limited, and Maddock Films Private Ltd. He also worked in the Editorial team in the 2017 tv series Girl In The City.

His other notable work includes Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink (2019), Trapped (2016), Bala (2019), Street Dancer 3D (2020), Batti Gal Meter Chalu (2018). He also playedthe lead role in the 2016 short film Jiya Jaye Na. In his early life, Kashish had also performed as a theatre artist and performed several plays in his four-year theatre career. He is a big fan of the lyricist, Gulzar.
