Anukriti Singh is an Indian director, writer, and production designer. Born in a small village Yuvrajpur in India, her family currently resides in Mumbai and works in Indian television. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai and pursued a 1-year filmmaking program at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. She worked as an Assistant Director at different companies, including Rashmi Sharma Telefilms Pvt. Ltd., Offshore productions and, Rajkumar Hirani Films. She has a working experience of almost three years in Bollywood. She has also worked on short and long-format films in Los Angeles and Georgia.
Aunkriti is known for her work in Father (2018), Mariyam (2018), Living on the edge (2019), all of which she wrote and directed. Her parents and grandparents have been her role models and were very supportive of her career, especially when she decided to move to California to pursue her film degree. Anukriti aspires to direct films, commercials, and music videos and work in comedy, drama, and real-life and period drama movies. She is fluent in Bengali, Hindi, and English.
