Jeevan J Kang

Jeevan Kang pursued a bachelor’s in architecture at the School of Habitat Studies in 1997. After finishing college, the illustrator joined Liquid Comics in 2002, originally known as Virgin Comics, where he serves as the creative senior vice president. His role entails developing concepts and intellectual property for comics, animation, and live-action films. Kang is the man behind the artwork of the popular comic 'Spider-Man: India, adored by people of all ages across the country. He also has the credit of illustrating the comic books The Sadhu, created by Gotham Chopra, and Seven Brothers, produced by John Woo.

The eminent illustrator did not restrict himself to the field of artwork, but has also worked as a writer, director, producer, art director, and character designer for numerous shows and movies. Kang is known for the 2016 animated series ‘Astra Force,’ helmed by ‘Alok Sharma.’ The series, which aired on Disney Channel, was created by ‘Amitabh Bachchan,’ who also voiced the lead character, Astra. Kang worked in the art department as a character designer and creative director for its hundred and four episodes. ‘Chakra the Invincible: The Rise of Infinitus’ is a sci-fi action animated television movie created by ‘Stan Lee.’ The 2016 superhero film saw ‘Jeevan J. Kang’ donning the role of its story writer. ‘Anne Marie Damman’ and ‘Jacque Floyd’ gave voice to 'Infinitus and Leela, respectively. Kang was also one of the producers of the film.

Kang is credited with scripting fifty-seven episodes of the animated television series ‘Baahubali: The Lost Legends’ streamed on Amazon Prime Video. He also wrote the story for those episodes from 2017-2020. Besides, Kang served as an executive producer for sixty-nine episodes of the action series.
