Priyanka Shetty

Priyanka is a multitalented person who has worked as an actress, director and playwright based in Philadelphia, PA. She is graduated from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville USA with a Master of Fine Arts degree in acting. She has instructed undergrad students as a faculty at the University of Virginia’s Department of Drama moreover, she is certified teaching artist of Tectonic Theatre Project’s moment work. She is passionate for teaching and has served as lecturer and offered private coaching and group lessons in acting, public speaking, voice& speech, solo performance, and playwriting. She founded What’s The Scene India, which promotes the live music scene and concerts in India across all genres. She has been associated with Actor’s Equity since 2019.

Priyanka Shetty comes into the highlights from her show ‘The Elephant in the Room,’ which emerged as the revolution in her life. She has been performing at various international venues across the country. She made her Off- Broadway debut with #CHARLOTTESVILLE at the Drama Desk award winning 59E59 Theaters “East to Edinburgh” Festival in 2021. She was also selected for the esteemed Kennedy Center Playwriting Intensive in 2021, and remained semi-finalist for the 2022 Eugene O’Neill National Playwright Conference.
