Astha Mittal is an actress known for her work in Bollywood. She was born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. She went to boarding school for her primary education at M.G.D. Girls School Jaipur in 1997. She completed her Bachelor’s In Engineering in Electronics And Telecommunications in 2010 from Bharathi Vidyapeeth, Pune, Maharashtra, India. She did a diploma in advertising and public relations, advertising and applied communication in 2011 from IIMC New Delhi, India.
She kickstarted her career as a freelance writer in 2014. In 2017, she published ‘She & He – The Book & Take A Moment’. She worked as a software and expression guide. In 2011, she began working as an artist. Her artworks mainly focused on Indian society and Indian Women. She worked with acrylic, charcoal, wood and oil as her medium. She makes large-sized abstract works for homes and office spaces. She moved into theatre with her role as Huma/ Humaria in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi’.
