Siddharth Shukla is another actor who became popular in Tamil through the Hindi dubbed serial Manvasanai. Siddharth Shukla was born and raised up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Indiai. He belongs to a Brahmin family from Allahabad and his father was a Civil Engineer who works in the Reserve Bank of India. Balika Vadhu, the Hindi version of Manvasanai has made him popular and changed his life.

He has received lots of appreciations and recognitions in Tamil Nadu mainly because of the serial Manvasanai.  Eventhough, he is known as a Hindi actor, the reach was more when he came into the Tamil households. He plays a balanced, understanding, wonderful character in the serial.  Siddharth also participated in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, in which Karan was one of the judges.

Siddharth Shukla (1980–2021), a vibrant star of Indian entertainment, was born in Mumbai, India, on December 12, 1980, to the late Ashok Shukla and Rita Shukla. With two older sisters, Preeti and Neetu Shukla, the youngest siblings became well-known and adored models, actors, and hosts in the Indian entertainment world. After completing his studies at St. Xavier's High School in Fort Mumbai, Siddharth graduated from the Rachana Sansad School of Interior Design. The competitive and athletic young man played football and tennis for his school.

His first taste of fame came as a model. He represented India in The World's Best Model competition, held in Turkey in 2005. He was the first Asian and Indian to win this renowned title with charm and radiant presence. He made a name in the advertising industry. He also appeared in the music video for the song Resham Ka Rumal, sung by well-known, accomplished Indian vocalist Ila Arun.

Shukla's debut was the 2008 Sony TV series Babul Ka Aangaan Chootey Na. His notable works include shows like CID and Aahat and TV programs like Jaane Pehchaane Se...Ye Ajnabi, Love U Zindagi, Dil SE Dil Tak. A significant turning point in Siddharth's career occurred with the Colours TV social drama Balika Vadhu, in which he played the stoic Shivraj Shekhar in the male lead role. The public and critics alike praised his outstanding performance and screen presence. The Indian Television Academy Awards honored him with the "GR8! Performer of the Year (Male)" trophy.

Siddharth participated in reality series like Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (winner), Bigg Boss 13 (winner), and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6, showcasing his brilliance, adaptive and unfiltered personality, which gave him fame. His candid and enthusiastic involvement in Bigg Boss made him one of the most adored contestants in the show's history, and he was declared the season's victor.With Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania, he made his Bollywood debut in 2014, for which he received the 2015 Stardust Award for "Breakthrough Supporting Performance (Male)." He appeared in the film Business in Kazakhstan.

His features in music videos like Bhula Dunga, Dil Ko Karar Aya, Shona Shona, and Habit and his hosting of Savdhaan India and India's Got Talent 6 require special mention. Shukla debuted on OTT as Agastya Rao in Broken But Beautiful 3, and it received immense love and appreciation from the audience. His promising endeavor was cut short with his sudden and unfortunate demise on 2nd September 2021 at the tender age of 40, which has made a permanent void in the industry and the nation's heart.
