Murari Lal Gupta is an actor, model, and an Indian Television Artist. He was born in Ranchi, Jharkhand as the only brother to his four sisters. He completed his education at Marwari High School, Ranchi. Murari was always interested in acting and took part in several theatrical acts in his school days. He further joined St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi for his higher studies in B.com LLB.
Murari was also a former banker in the Bank Of India. In 1980, he went to Mumbai, Maharashtra, and shot for his first advertisement. Murari did his first theatre act in Doordarshan in 1985 and further went on to play several characters in 20-25 theatrical acts. In 1987, he again travelled to Mumbai and grabbed his first ever television acting work and played the role of Akampan, Senapati of Ravana in the Ramayana television Series by

, which was aired in DD National once again in 2021. Murari also featured in Bollywood films as well including Birsa Munda- The Black Iron Man (2004), Ajab Singh Ki Gajab Kahani (2017), and Bharat Ke Shaheed. He has also acted in several Television Series and Nagpuri Films.
