, released in 1934. He made more than seventy films. Homi Master acted in three films before getting an opportunity to direct. Three Films, Bhakta Vidur, released in 1921 (in the role of Duryodhan), Ajamil, released in 1922, and Vratasur Vadha, released in 1923, were directed by Kanjibhai Rathod.
In 1924, Homi Master started his career with Dwarka Sampat's Kohinoor Film Company as a director. His first film for Kohinoor Film Company was Bismi Sadi. When Homi Master was thirteen-year-old, he joined a Parsi theatre group called Bilwala. Homi Master soon became a popular stage actor after his performance in Pakzaad Parveen was being appreciated.
