Dibakar Baruri is an actor in Bollywood film industry and an indie director from Kolkata. Dibakar has co-directed short films like Lobongo Latika with Anindita Ghosh Roy. Lobongo Latika was nominated for the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Tagore International Film Festival in December 2020. Another short film directed by both Dibakar Baruri and Anindita Ghosh Roy, is Umika, which also won an Outstanding Achievement Award at the World Film Carnival Singapore, in November 2020. He again collaborated with Anindita Ghosh Roy for Enroute, another one of their short films, which was announced as the best film in India International Short Film Festival in 2020. Baruri also worked on these films as an editor. As an actor, he appeared in the 2016 movie Te3n as one of the Technical Inspectors.Â
