Balwinder Singh Vicky

Balwinder Singh Vicky, popularly known as Doordarshan Punjabi comic character Chacha Raunki Ram, still kept his talent alive by producing poems and drawings. After graduation, he worked in oil mills, rubber companies, and as a receptionist for the Punjab Tourist Development Corporation. During the 1980s, he was tremendously busy in theatre, television, and film. He was an active performer in college and was chosen to perform for Akashwani Jalandhar. He began working for Jalandhar Doordarshan in 1988, performing several hilarious sketches in various programmes.
