Krishnakant Maganlal Atmaram Bukhanwala, best known as Krishnakant or KK was born on 15 September 1922 in Howrah, West Bengal India. He is a great actor and director who gained much fame in Gujarati & Hindi cinema. He had been working in film industry since British Raj. He completed Electrical Engineering in 1940. He worked in Badal, Zalzala, Tamasha and Daag in 1952, Patitha, Do Bigha Zamin in 1953, Jaal Saj, Ghar Ghar Ki baat, Satta Bazaar in 1959, Do Raaste and Aaradhna in 1969. He was a part of Howrah Bridge (1958), Hathi Mere Saathi (1971) and Sharmeelee (1971) all achieved immense success in the Hindi film industry.
