Gujarati dramatist Pragji Jamnadas Dossa was born in 1907. He served as a link between both the old and new Parsi theater being the former and the Gujarati novice theater being the latter. He also made an effort to support children's theater. Bombay is where Pragji Jamnadas Dossa was born. He started writing plays in 1924 for the traditional theater, still, he immediately recognized the winds of change and gave his plays new life by incorporating the most astonishing aspects of its actor-centered presentations. He is the only playwright of his generation to have written for Gujarati and Hindi radio, television, and film, as well as children's plays, and songs for radio, taught theater, editing theatre magazines, and written on theatrical history, and wrote on Sanskrit performativity.Â
