Rasbihari Desai has quoted on several occasions that the turning point in his life has been his marriage to her. The couple had no children. Vibha Desai was also a national level singer on All-India Radio (AIR). She received the best Female Playback Singer Award for the year 1989 for the Gujarati film ’Kashino Dikro’. The movie is still regarded as a landmark in the history of Gujarati cinema. Together with her husband, Vibha Desai has given more than thousand performances both in India and abroad. She mainly sings devotional songs.
