Pranlal Vyas was a Gujarati playback singer as well as a folk singer. He was born in Jetalsar to mother Shantaben and father Premshankar Bhai. He garnered high accolades for the song 'Ghadvaiya Mare Thakorji nai Thavu' from the 1978 Gujarati film 'Bhagat Gora Kumbar, which was composed by Kavi Dad. On February 20, 2020, the route from Sonapur in Junagadh city to the Bhavnath entrance was renamed "Bhajnik Shri Pranlal Vyas Marg" in his honour. He appeared in 37 films, 26 of which won Oscars.
