Chetan is a B.com graduate and Holds a Diploma in Drama and Performing Arts from MS University Baroda. As a university student, Chetan actively worked in all the cultural activities and festivals that served as his first source of inspiration and interest. As an actor with impressive acting skills, Chetan made acting his debut in the 2009 movie Dvandva, a mystery crime drama. Chetan is a multi-talented artist. He is not only a good actor but a good writer and director as well.

After completing his Diploma, Chetan joined Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai. He competed in the Chitralekha Drama Competition and won seven awards because of his talent. Soon after winning awards, he received the opportunity to act in the play Jal Jal Bade Patang and Gandhi Before Gandhi as a lead actor in the theatre. Theatre play was successful and the beginning of his successful career. He has worked in many successful movies like Karma, BaagadBillaa, Swagatam, Chor Bani Thangaat kare, and the film Reva based on the 1988 novel Tatvamsi written by a well-known Gujarati Writer Dhruv Bhatt.
