Shanmukh Babu Upadhyay was a Gujarati music director and composer. He was born on the 13th of September 1920 in Surat, Gujarat. He was the disciple of Pandit Omkarnath Thakur. He was also an expert violin and Jal Tarang player. He has composed many Gujarati places and songs along with his elder brother.
