He has an elder sister, Shwetal Solanki. He studied at AG Teachers School and completed his graduation at Gujarat College. Vishal works in the Gujarati and Hindi entertainment industries. Vishal made his debut in Parvarish in 2010 on Sony TV. Vishal has played in movies and TV serials. In 2013, he played in Chhanchhan, telecast on Sony TV.

In 2014, he played in KumKum Bhagya. In 2015, he played the lead role in Preet Piyu Ane Pannaben. In 2017, he played in Fodu Lasihu Yaar, and in 2018, he worked in Dil Chemistry. In the film Tension Thai Gayu, released in 2018, he played Raghu. In 2019, he received the Best Male Debut award at the Gujarat Film Awards.
