Pannikutty Movie Review
ORE AST REW
Panni Kutty is a comedy film scripted and directed by Anucharan Murugaiyan. Subaskaran Allirajah produced the film. The movie features Yogi Babu, “Karunakaran,” “Singampuli,” Dindigul I Leoni, Bijili Ramesh, “Ramar,” “Thangadurai,” TP Gajendran, Shathiga, and Malini Sathappan. Sathish Murugan cranked the camera, and editing is by the director Anucharan. Krishnakumar composed the music.
Uthravathi and Nilavathi are siblings. Periya Karuppu is their father. Uthra feels that he has no luck in his life. He even tries to commit suicide, feeling that he has no luck in his life. Even that didn't work out. Once a seer suggests Uthra find a piglet, which caused an accident. If he does that, he will become lucky. When Uthra searches for it, he finds that Thittani is safeguarding it. Will Uthra get the piglet from Thittani? The rest of the film deals with it!
Karunakaran and Yogi Babu are good with their expressions and body language. The rest of the stars did justice to the given roles.
The director has penned a comedy script and made it an entertaining watch with its exciting screenplay. Unlike his first film, Kirumi, which is a serious film, Panni Kutty is the total opposite of that genre. However, there are some sluggish moments here and there. Though the film belongs to the comedy genre, it also captures people's emotions. The BGM is okayish. The visuals are neat, and the editing is good. The film has good production values, and it is technically decent.
- The script and the execution are neat
- The performances are good
What's Not There?
- There are a few flaws in the film
With a good set of comedy actors and a simple plot, the director has brought a complete entertainer to relax this weekend. If you love comedy films, this film will not disappoint you!
