Plot

Dass kidnaps girls and Naai Sekar kidnaps high-breed dogs for money. Sekar’s family had a lucky pet dog. However, when the dog had gone missing, their luck faded away. Sekar wanted to find his dog. Dass has a pet dog, and when Naai Sekar kidnaps the dog, Dass and co start searching for it, seriously. Naai Sekar finds that his dog is now with Max, a biggie in Hyderabad. Will he be able to get back his dog and bring all the lost luck to his family? The rest of the film deals with it.

Star Performance

Vadivelu is good in the given role, as usual. He is already famous for his body language and dialogue delivery, and he didn’t disappoint in those. Anandraj has been doing comedy roles recently, and it works out well. His combination scenes with Vadivelu are received well. His counters and one-liners are attractive. Shivani did a decent job. Sivaangi has nothing significant to do. Redin’s performance didn’t work out well.

Analysis

The story is not exciting, and the director has put all the weight on the shoulders of Vadivelu. Though the actor manages to carry out well, some new dialogues would’ve saved the film better. Suraj used the hit dialogues of Vadivelu as the central element in the movie. Though Vadivelu’s on-screen appearance is impressive, repeated dialogues slightly irk the audience. The rest of the supporting actors are not given enough weightage. The music and visuals are decent, and LYCA spent a lot to make the film appear rich.

What’s There?

  • The performances of Vadivelu and Anandaraj are good
  • A few comedy scenes
  • Decent music composition and visuals

What’s Not There?

  • Careless writing and a weak screenplay
  • A new dialogue pattern is needed

Verdict

Though the film is decent to watch, it is not the perfect Return of Vadivelu. Nevertheless, the film is a one-time watch for people who love Vadivelu’s performances!
