Dharmendra Anand Gupta is an actor known for “Kahe Diya Pardes,” “Kya Family Hai (2017),” and “Manto (2018),” directed by Nandita Das, in which he plays the character of ‘Arif Abdul Mateen. The film is based on the life history of writer Saadat Hasan Manto, and is set in 1940s India.

Dharmendra had appeared in ‘Ladies Special,’ produced by optimystix on Sony TV. Gupta has an acting career spanning over fifteen years and has done various plays & more than a hundred episodes of Crime Patrol. In 2019, he appeared in the film “Photograph,” directed by Ritesh Batra, in which he played the character of a taxi driver.
