Pawan Rai is a musician of Sikkim. This great musician was born on 12 August 1988. He is a degree holder in classical vocal from Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan. Pawan is an established classical singer from Sikkim. He is a known face and an inspiration to many not only in his state but in other parts of the country as well. He is a founder/Principal of Gandhar Music Academy, which is situated in Sisa Gola, Gangtok, Sikkim. Pawan wants every singer and musician of Sikkim to explore the hidden art of classical music and earn a great name in the field.
In 2019 Pawan represented Sikkim in the "Surangan Classical Music Festival," held on 16 Feb- 17 Feb at Guwahati. This music festival is considered to be one of the greatest festivals in India. The music festival is organized by 'Sangeet Natak Akademi.' The whole state is extremely proud of Pawan and his works. He is an inspiration to aspiring singers.
