The series premiered on the Urdu1 on July 27, 2015, and concluded on December 21, 2015, having aired 22 episodes. Nazo' was about the domestic troubles that we all encounter regularly. The series stars Atiqa Odho, Soniya Hussain, Zhalay Sarhadi, and Ahmed Ali. The show explored whether to keep a typical child or to place that kid for adoption. Nazo's story began with a couple who couldn't decide whether to have a son or none at all. Atiqa Odho portrayed Riaz and Tabassum, a mother of two daughters, where they showed the real-life mentally challenged girl. Soniya Hussain portrayed Nazo, and Zhalay Sarhadi portrayed Samra. Riaz was angry at how life had treated him by not providing him with a son. Riaz was enraged by his wife, picked a fight with Tabassum, and stormed outside. He had experienced an accident later that night and took his last breath.

After hearing their parents quarrel, Samra accused Tabassum of Riaz's death. Tabassum had worked around the clock to make ends meet after her husband died, and she had two daughters to take care of. Tabassum began to ignore her children as a result of the stress. Now, she had to take care of her sister. They became so close that Samra was horrified at the prospect of getting married and left Nazo behind. Tabassum wanted to submit her sister Nazo to a mental institution, but later that night, Nazo became sick and ended up in the hospital. Samra met Habeel that night. Habeel's son developed feelings for Nazo and began to spend time with her. After, sometime Samra and Habeel started to fall for each other. Will Samra and Habeel be able to live happily ever after? Will Habeel always be sympathetic to Nazo? What does the future hold for Nazo? The entire team had done many studies, which was evident in both the writing and the performances.
