He has wri >> Read More... . Ayat is a bold and blunt young girl who studies in the US and returns home unexpectedly for her sister-in-law's due. Ayat is pursued relentlessly by Salmaan, who admires and respects her. But, she refuses his marriage proposal. Meanwhile, she has a verbal disagreement with a boy, Wamiq, from her younger brother, Samar’s college. The spat ends with her slapping him. Wamiq is spoilt and misuses money and authority for his mother is a trustee of his college. Shaken by Ayat’s bold action, Wamiq and his two friends decide to kidnap her. They keep her for a week, and Wamiq gets married to her, followed by marital rape.

He then shreds the official marriage document, refusing to acknowledge ayat as his wife. He asks her to prove the truth in court if she dares to stand against him. Ayat being the level-headed girl, pursues a case against Wamiq but fails. In the process, she loses all support from her family. Wamiq is rattled and mesmerized by Ayat’s presence and courage, and he falls deeply in love with her. He holds a press conference and declares the truth. In retrospect, all he wanted was Ayat’s presence in his life as his wife. But Ayat refuses and asks for a divorce. The court, pressured by the media, reopens the case and sentences Wamiq to six years in prison. Ayat discovers that she is pregnant, and her father passes away, unable to bear the weight of the fate his daughter had to live with. Salmaan, who has been by her side all this time, proposes marriage, forhe’s still in love with Ayat. She agrees, and they get married.

Together they have a son, and Salman embraces Ayat and Wamiq’s daughter as his own. After six years, Wamiq is released from prison. He is disheartened to see that Ayat has moved on. He pines for his daughter as he loves her, and wants Ayat and his daughter to live together with him as a family. When Ayat disagrees, he kidnaps Ayat’s son hoping that he will blackmail her at gunpoint to sign his daughter’s custody papers. But Salmaan arrives and saves them. Wamiq dies in the process. His toxic role is a fine example of a negative role of a character a viewer can’t hate, for his sad past keeps the sympathy alive and his delusional present keeps the hate burning. All in all, this serial is a good watch.
