Tehzeeb, played by Rabab Hashim, is a simple middle-class girl, who is the perfect stereotypical bride material: well-educated and well-mannered. The only skill she lacks is fashion. Her cousin, Sehar on the other hand, is a girl who has a good sense of style and makeup. Tehzeeb gets married to Sarosh (Noor Hassan Rizvi), a classy businessman who runs an empire along with his mother.

Sarosh’s mother, played by AnniZaidi, refuses to accept Tehzeeb as her daughter-in-law, for she is far from the class of society they belong to. But as time goes by, Tehzeeb and Sarosh fall in love. In the meantime, Tehzeeb’s mother-in-law becomes a wheelchair user owing to spinal injuries. With Tehzeeb’s love and care, she gets well and can walk again despite her injuries. Moved by her care, Sarosh’s mother finally accepts Tehzeeb as her daughter-in-law. Hashim brilliantly plays the simple educated girl and portrays that culture and education bring class, not money.

Sehar is a free-spirited girl who gets in trouble due to her mother’s obnoxious advice and ways to gain an eligible groom. When she finally gets married to a person of her mother’s choice, Mustafa, her mother ruins their relationship, and it ultimately ends in divorce. Sehar’s mother learns her lesson and guilty accepts her wrong ways. The social drama is a must-watch for the cast and characters despite the predictable storyline.
